Wow — what a great compilation of footage from ESPN. If you're a sports fan and don't get chill bumps watching this, then.....oh well. Being a guy that has been in the business for many years, I remember at A LOT of these moments (no, I am not old enough to have seen Babe Ruth :)  The majority of these memories are derived from growing up in a sports-oriented family — an older brother who was a sports 'phenom' — in high school and the dad who played football in Marvell, Arkansas.... at a time when leather helmets where in myself, who played most sports growing up, but developed a love of tennis (2 years at the DII level)....watching every waking minute of ANY tennis match on the in a time where the only channels available were the 3 major networks and no ESPN — imagine that! It was limited...but in my humble opinion was advantageous in that we appreciated and adjusted our schedules around the moments — even much more so than today — when great sporting events aired....before the days of DVR, ESPN, social media, internet, etc. because there were no other options available  — no 'instant' news with replays of the action. Results/outcome were reported a day or so later in the daily (or weekly) paper. Anyway, hope you get my drift. If not, my apologies. Watch below....and I hope you too will get 'chill bumps'.

This happened in my own "backyard". Wish I had been there to see it. AMAZING!!
